Welcome to the homepage of the Resilient and Intelligent Structures Technology (RESiST) Lab! Our research focuses on both theoretical and experimental developments of advanced sensing and health monitoring techniques to improve the resiliency and sustainability of civil infrastructure under operational and extreme loading conditions. Specific research interests include vibration-based damage detection and model updating, wireless smart sensor networks, innovative sensing techniques, computer vision, machine learning, data assimilation, uncertainty quantification, risk assessment and mitigation.
